“Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.” ~by Og Mandino

Tiny But Strong

“Strong appearance with gentle inner and high endurance” is the well known description for cactus – the flower from the desert.

The lovely little cactus is always dressed up in beautiful green outfit and shielded with lots of out sticking needles. It is like millions of soldiers protecting their greenery homeland with the willingness to sacrifice their life if there is a need to.

This little plant gives no surrender to anybody, including the Mother Nature. It survives through all the hardship of dryness, high temperature and strong sunlight. It is so invincible. It is like a brave warrior who fights till the end without giving up no matter what the enemies are waiting for him in front.

“Tiny little cactus, standing green in the dessert
Sip only a little water and breathe only the hot air throughout his life
Life is tough but it never gives up
Other plants lie down wilt and dead whereas the cactus is still tough and steady
Enjoy its life like no one else
Never giving in to fate”

How I wish I were like you. Always be strong and brave. Tackle all my challenges waiting ahead. Standing in front of the enemy without feeling fear.

No lar, I put them on the balcony. They have to be left under the sun lar. Can't like urs 1, always stay in ur house and can only get the "sunlight" from ur lamp, hehe~
I read an article before and it said that it would be good to put the cactus next to ur PC or laptop as it will help to reduce the radiation from the computer, good for our eyes.

You have to change the water often else it could be the breeding ground for mosquitoes.
May be you can think about to use the crystal soil. It can absorb and retain lots of water and nutritive elements, and release slowly and absorb repeatedly.
