“Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.” ~by Og Mandino

Free Shuttle Bus, Mineral Water & Left-luggage Services

These are the three things I like most from Macau. I mean, what basically play an essential role in a backpacking trip? The transportation!

What if a backpacker has many luggage but does not want to carry along when browsing the city and wish to temporary keep at somewhere in the care of someone? Here comes the left-luggage service which will definitely save your life.

On top of those, you don't even have to spend a pence for getting the drinking water outside. You can simply get the free one from casino. Gosh! This especially benefits people like me who drinks lots of water everyday. How great!! We converted some Hong Kong dollars to Macau Official Pataca (MOP) which is strongly recommended by those who had travelled to Macau before. Although the rate is merely 1HKD=1.03MOP, the difference would become significant when you splash out in huge amount. Then, we took a few travel leaflets and brochures which given away freely from the information counter. You always need them as an alternative resource for reference if you want to get to know the local on-going events or something that could hardly be found on internet or other travels booklets. Especially the map which has shown every detailed part and street in Macau. This will be very helpful to us in our later journey.

We got on to a free shuttle bus which took us from Macau International Airport to Venetian Resort-Hotel at Taipa within ten minutes. Tell you what, we are indeed impressed by the luxury grand magnificent looking inside and outside of the Venetian building and its surroundings, as though a big castle. Huge and gorgeous!

We did not stay for too long but just glimpsed over the area quickly as the time was not enough for us to really go through everything in there. We will be back to here again on the last day of our three-day-Macau-trip.

We took another free shuttle bus again from Venetian to Sands Hotel afterwards. From there, we got to our hotel on foot; it took us almost 10 minutes to reach. Phew~
